Have you ever watched a movie via telephone?
I have. My friend was watching the movie "Cellular" on the movie channel, which I don't get. She claimed over and over again how it was such a stupid movie, yet she couldn't stop watching it. Since I couldn't see what was going on she narrated the movie for me, along with a running commentary about how stupid it was....I guess you could technically "watch" a movie that way, with someone narrating and by using your imagination...but personally I think it takes too much brain power. Especially since I was watching Notting Hill at the same time.
"You know that guy, from this movie? What's his name? I think he's in a British film, and there's guns. I think he's in the sequel of that movie he did before"
"Wow, that was really suspenseful. And I'm not that easily suspendable."
Anyways, she missed the end of the movie so I'm making her rent it and watch it with me again so that we can BOTH say how stupid it is.

I watch tv on the phone a lot with my sister on the other end, watching the same show with a slight delay, neither of us speaking, neither of us having the presence of mind to say "I'm gonna go now so I can watch this." Instead we just sit there in silence, save for the occasional bits of laughter that, thanks to the delay, come 3-4 seconds apart.
