Millions of peaches, peaches for me

Quick, who sings that.

This weekend I saw the Lord of the Rings musical. When it first came out I wondered who would dare to make a MUSICAL out of a 9 hour movie epic...which in turn was made out of a classic novel. But....it wasn't half bad. Considering I only paid $20 for my ticket, I was quite pleased. That leads me to one rant about service charges. What exactly is a "convenience fee"? Convenience for who? The customer? The production company? The poor guy who sells you the tickets? Why can't you just include that into the overall ticket price and we would be none the wiser.

Too bad I had an extra ticket that I couldn't sell.

Last night I asked my mom to come to the video store with me while I picked out a movie. Twenty minutes later, and there are FOUR movies in my mom's hand, NONE of which I had picked out nor wanted to watch. We watched one of them tonight. It was entitled "Just Desserts"....just from the title you can tell it's going to be an incredibly cheesy movie. Well...it was, and I predicted most of it. But!! It was about pastry chefs cooking desserts for a competition (who of course fall in love, but who cares). I LOVE that stuff. I wanted to be a pastry chef once, but then I realized that I'd probably be fat.

My dad was setting a mouse trap tonight in the kitchen. He was trying to test it by setting it up and setting it off with a chopstick. One time he didn't get his hand out of the way fast enough and it almost got him. Sometimes he makes me nervous with all the things he does.

Me: "So, umm......where are you putting the mouse trap?" (We have MICE????!)
Mom: "Under you bed!!"
Me: "Mom!!! I'm going to put it under your pillow!"

Huh??

Am I going crazy?? My blog just erased two of my comments, and erased an entire blog entry on my other site. Almost as if I never wrote them........except, the blog entry is sitting on my dashboard and every time I go to publish it, nothing happens.

Damn. It.

I just stubbed my toe. On my laundry basket holder thingy. I've done it about 5 times before...it has wiry metal legs that stick out. It's like my toe is magnetically attracted to things. THIS IS THE LAST TIME!!!! My toe is bleeding. It is throbbing. I think it's broken. *sniff*. Good thing I'm working in emerg in about 8 hours. Maybe I can x-ray myself.

My fishy died today. He was over a year old. Little guy.

Do you think that someone sat in a boardroom and thought really hard about how to market this item? I guess it is catchy....I don't know if I'd want to superpoo my hair though.

My fish is still alive, but he hasn't eaten in days.
