Glub Glub Gluuuuuu........b

I think my fish is sick. He just stares at the surface of the water all day and breathes really hard. And he shakes back and forth too, like he has Parkinson's or something. I think we've had him for over a year now. And he hasn't fought once....so I hope he's okay.

Reaching Out

Two days in a row, I've had random people add me on MSN. I always add them back, because I never know who it is - it could be someone I know, or met recently, and....I should give them the benefit of the doubt before I delete them. I've had total random people ask me to add them to their MSN and usually, for some reason, they don't speak English.

(Let me digress for a moment. Back in the days of ICQ, someone decided to hijack my account and kick me out. They then changed all of their information to some country in the middle east. A few years later, someone else hijacked my ICQ account, as WELL as my MSN account and pretended to be me, while propositioning my friend for cybersex. I SWEAR it wasn't me!)

So a few days ago I got a random add-on to my MSN. The first words that were typed to me consisted of ...Korean. Actual Korean characters. After my usual "huh?", the person changed their font to Chinese.

Me: "English"
Them: "i china"
Me: "i canada"

The conversation didn't go much further than that hahaha. Little things like that amuse me. You could kind of tell that the conversation wasn't going to be much, when the email address consisted mostly of numbers.

Anyways, tonight another random person added me. Judging from THEIR email address, it appears that they might be from the middle east somewhere. We'll see...they haven't come online yet.

So this got me to thinking, where do these people find my email address to add? Do they see it on some website and think, well, this person might be interesting to talk to...or do they just randomly make up email addresses and add them, in hopes that a real person will respond?

So I've put my theory to the test.

And now I've added Colin Farrell to my MSN. Keep your fingers crossed ladies.

Think before you speak

There are a lot of times when I say things that either don't make sense, that are totally made up and I don't realize it, or that I wish I could take back.

Haven't you ever said something where as soon as the words came out of your mouth you wish you hadn't spoken??

Today for me it was: "I can't wait until menopause"

And then there are those things that are said, where if you didn't know what the context was, you'd think I was totally wacko.

Today for me it was: "I should make some cranky pants cookies"

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. (Who said that?)
